Anne Hathaway thrilled fans when she announced Princess Diaries 3 was definitely going to be a thing - and better yet, she'd be returning to star as Mia Thermopolis.
For most, her role in the hit teen movies was the first time they'd ever seen Anne perform and now the franchise that catapulted her to fame in 2001 is returning for a third time.
The latest installment will be made by Disney with the studio hiring Adele Lim - of Crazy Rich Asians and Joy Ride fame - to direct the upcoming flick.
Sharing her exciting news, the Les Misérables actress posted a video to her Instagram account stitching iconic scenes from the early noughties movies with selfie videos.

"We look forward to celebrating its core tenants of female power, joy and mentorship with audiences worldwide."
