Jake Peralta is back on Netflix today for season 5 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
We have waited a long time for the new series.
Fans were shocked when the news broke that the show had been axed.
But an online campaign to save the show went so viral that they had no to choice but to keep it.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is here to stay
NBC gave a 7th season to the increasingly-popular cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine
The network has been the show's new home since it was cancelled by Fox last year.
There were calls for another network to take on the show from fans on social media.
Despite initial rumours from Netflix, NBC pulled the trigger and took the show on for a 13-episode 6th season.
When the show has moments like this, it's easy to see why NBC then extended that season to 18 episodes:
