Former contestant Anton Danyluk has revealed Love Island bosses go to great lengths to ensure Islanders don't face backlash over old tweets or comments they posted online.
He spilled the beans on episode five of Casa SPIN with Tara Walsh and Marty Guilfoyle.

Anton revealed there's a team dedicated to scrolling through each participant's social media accounts.
They then create a list of negative content shared throughout the years, and advise the Islander to delete it before entering the villa.
This prevents any backlash online during their time on the show.

The gym owner said, "They do it for you... they check everything out for you, they've got a full team."
"They look through your Instagram, through your Facebook and then they come back to you and tell you what to delete."
"Think about it, when we were younger, there's certain things we would say that wasn't as offensive as what it is now, in this day and age."

Anton continued, "Or how it can be perceived by the media and they'll twist anything."
"They can take something completely out of context so yeah, the Love Island team are very thorough..."
Martin was so surprised by the idea of someone being hired just to go through Anton's social media posts.

Anton explained, "It's like within every picture, every comment as well."
"So through your Facebook, all the comments. And they're saying, 'In this picture you put on Facebook in 2013, you commented this back, we think this would be offensive.'"
"And you get this big list back and you have to go through it."
