Christian Bale in talks for brand new Marvel movie

Christian Bale is in talks to join the likes of Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman for Thor: Love and Thunder.

The Marvel flick will be a follow up to the 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok.

If you were a fan of the first movie, then you'll be happy to hear Taika Waititi will return as director.

And if Bale bags the role, it'll be his first comic book movie since The Dark Knight Rises.

Collider exclusively revealed this week that the actor's in talks to join the all star cast.

However, it's unclear which role he's gunning for.

Tessa Thompson returns as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster and Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor.

Meanwhile, the film's director will continue to voice the fan favourite character Korg.

And president of Marvel studios, Kevin Feige will produce the movie.

Thor: Love and Thunder is due out November 2021.
