Disney Plus to make live action Lilo & Stitch
It's been reported that Disney Plus are working on a live action remake of Lilo & Stitch.
Aladdin's Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich will produce the movie.
And it's believed the original voice of Stitch, Chris Sanders will reprise his role.
The original movie came out in summer 2002 and follows the story of an alien called Stitch who crash lands in Hawaii.
A lonely girl named Lilo adopts this small dog-like creature and gives him his iconic name.
She teaches the little guy the meaning of ohana - family. And family means nobody gets left behind.
TheDisInsider reports the live action remake will follow the same story-line as the 2004 flick.
It'll be a nice mix of live-action and CGI hybrid and they're set to begin filming later this year.
The remake is expected to drop on Disney Plus' new streaming service.
