Ellen DeGeneres' crew members fuming
Crew members on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show are apparently fuming over how they've been treated amid the global pandemic.
Two sources, 'affiliated with the series,' spoke to Variety about the issue this week on the condition of anonymity.
They alleged nearly all crew members were told to brace for a 60% pay reduction.
There's about 30 people working as part of the stage crew for The Ellen Show.
According to Variety's sources, they were left in the dark about the status of their working hours and pay for over a month.
They also received no written, 'inquiries about their mental and physical health from producers,' in that time period.
Of course, the staff did get in contact with the, 'higher-ups in production,' but they revealed very little.
The staff members were further enraged by the show's decision to reportedly hire an, 'outside, non-union tech company.'
They did this, 'to help DeGeneres tape remotely from her home in California.'

Insiders told Variety that, 'Only four core crew members currently work on the remote version of the broadcast.'
It's also reported production executives announced last week that nearly all crew members should, 'brace for a 60% reduction in pay.'
However, Warner Bros. Television say the well-being of their employees is of utmost importance to them.
A spokesperson told Variety, 'Our executive producers and Telepictures are committed to taking care of our staff and crew...'
They say they, 'have made decisions first and foremost with them in mind.'
However, Variety say they, 'acknowledged that communication could have been better, but cited complications due to the chaos caused by COVID-19.'
