Release Date
13 Reasons Why Season 3 is coming to Netflix in 2019.
The streaming platform officially renewed the show in June last year.
While we don't have a specific release date yet we do know we're getting new episodes in May.
Cast
According to IMDB, a number of our favourite actors will be filming for the show this year.
The list includes Dylan Minnette (Clay), Christian Navarro (Tony) and Alisha Boe (Jessica Davis).
The characters of Justin Foley, Bryce Walker, Alex Standall, Zach Dempsey, Chloe Rice, and Tyler Down also look set to return.
Dylan Minnette revealed we might even see Katherine Langford's Hannah Baker again.
Speaking to Seventeen he said, "There's a whole life that Hannah had, and there's more we can learn about her. Overall, learning more about her is more important to the entire narrative,"
Plot
Like Season 1, Season 2 had another dramatic ending.
Tyler Down was viciously assaulted leading him to bring a gun to the Spring Fling dance.
Clay stepped in to prevent a school shooting but was left holding the firearm as the police arrived.
In addition, we saw Bryce Walker handed just three months probation for two sexual assault charges. We also learned his girlfriend Chole is pregnant.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Justin Prentice discussed where he saw the season going.
He said, "It'd be very interesting to see" what happened with Chloe's pregnancy.
Continuing he said, "I think [the topic of abortion could be covered] and it would be interesting to see how they handle it, because from my point of view, Bryce comes from a powerful family and they have a way of making things disappear, so I don't know.
