Line Of Duty season 6
The Line Of Duty cast are finally back filming the upcoming sixth season.
Production had been put on hold earlier this year amid the global pandemic.
However, fans will be delighted to hear filming is well and truly underway.

The official social media accounts for Line Of Duty confirmed the news earlier today.
They shared a behind the scenes picture of Martin Compston in character as DS Steve Arnott.

Martin also shared a picture of himself in a police vest on Instagram Stories.
In a follow up post, the actor wrote, 'it's happening..... #lineofduty6'

Vicky McClure, who plays DI Kate Fleming, shared a picture of herself and Martin on her own Instagram account.
He's shown waving at the camera from the steps of his trailer.
She simply captioned the post, 'Hello mate'
As quoted by The BBC, Simon Heath, Executive Producer for World Productions said:
'It’s been almost six months since we stopped shooting, but following our implementation of all the industry Covid protocols, we’re delighted to be able to resume filming series six safely.'
While showrunner Jed Mercurio said:
'We know Line of Duty fans are desperate for series six and we hope we can get it on air as soon as possible.'
'Thanks so much for your patience in these difficult times.'
Season 6
We can expect to see some brand new faces in season six.
Each season of Line of Duty focuses on a guest actor, and Kelly Macdonald will be this season's guest.
She'll follow in the footsteps of Stephen Graham, Thandie Newton and Keeley Hawes.

The BBC One Instagram account revealed Macdonald will play Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson.
She's the senior investigating officer of an unsolved murder who's raising suspicions at AC-12.
'Fellas, what exciting news.'
Of course, the show's reoccurring stars Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure will all return for season six.
We can't wait to see what writer/ creator Jed Mercurio has in store for us.
