Yesterday we got the first look at the gorey movie poster for Jennifer Lawrence's latest film Mother! Director Darren Aronofsky who previously worked on Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream tweeted the artwork to mark Mother's Day in the States.

Very little is known about the film which will also star Javier Bardem but IMDB have described the plot as centering around "a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence."
The supporting cast includes Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kristen Wiig and Love/Hate's Brian Gleeson. This is not the first thriller Jen has starred in, she played Elissa in House At The End Of The Street in 2012.
Mother! is due for release on October 13th.
