Hocus Pocus sequel
A sequel to 1993's Hocus Pocus is on the way.
The follow up to the cult classic is in the works at Disney Plus.
Writer and co-producer on Workaholics Jen D'Angelo is working on the script.
According to Collider, sources say she's been tasked with finding a way to bring back the original cast.
Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mary (Kathy Najimy) aren't yet attached to the movie.
However, the stars may return as secondary characters to guide the next generation of witches.
Original movie
Hocus Pocus tells the story of three witches who were executed in the 17th century.
When a curious young boy moves to Salem he struggles to fit in, and all four meet.
The movie didn't open to great success when it landed in cinemas 26 years ago.
However, it's since generated a serious cult following and screenings pop up every Halloween.
Omniplex cinemas are showing the title as part of their #BringItBack series this year.
You can watch it in screens across the country from Friday 25th to Thursday 31st October.
