How I Met Your Father (& got kicked off an Adele music video)
SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo caught up with the cast of the How I Met Your Mother spin off series, How I Met Your Father.
They spoke about many things, including how they managed to get kicked off an Adele music video set.
In this series, Sophie (Hilary Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father.
A story that brings us back to 2022, where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
Tom Ainsley, Francia Raisa and Suraj Sharma play Sophie's friends, Charlie, Valentina and Sid.
Sarina asked them if we can expect to see some guest stars in the new show, and Francia revealed she's hoping for an Adele cameo.
She added, "I mean listen, I want Jason Segel (Marshall) to guest star secretly... because I have a crush."
"Other than that, Adele would be great because Tom got us kicked out of her music video set on the first week of filming."
How it happened
When Sarina asked how, Suraj threw Tom under the bus revealing he was caught taking videos on set.
Francia explained, "Adele was shooting her music video on the lot, and Tom tried to take a picture, and the flash went off and everyone noticed."

Tom responded, "I know the rules! I know you're not allowed to take a photograph, so I was thinking, I'll turn the flash off."
"And then when I switched over to video, the flash came back on."
"Immediately some security came over and they were like, 'What are you doing here?!'"
He admitted, "We may have lied and told them we were working on a different show so that it didn't get back to us."
"And then we were asked to leave so we were hoping for Adele, so just as long as she doesn't know that happened," he said.
