'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' have introduced a terrifying high ropes challenge for the campmates upon arrival.

The celebrities will have to climb up a seven metre high structure over a waterfall, that's according to The Daily Mail.

A source has told The Daily Mail that the location for the task is at "Purling Brook Falls" which "is one of Queensland's top tourist attractions."

"The spot is a stunning area of natural beauty and is visited by thousands of tourists and visitors a year."

In 2015 alone, a Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service Spokeswoman said that they fined approximately $8,825 worth on tourists who went against the rules and risked their lives at the top of the waterfall.

The campmates have been announced and this year's lineup looks very promising.

Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp and X Factor's Fleur East are set to be entering the jungle.
