Intruder removed from Love Island villa
An intruder was removed from the Love Island villa in Mallorca last night following a security breach.
It's understood contestants and staff are safe and the area broken into has received a deep clean under strict COVID guidelines.

A Love Island spokesperson released the following statement, as quoted by the Independent:
'Last night a security breach was identified and an intruder was removed from the villa with immediate effect.'
'The safety of both our islanders and our production crew remains our primary concern.'
'As part of our stringent Covid safety measures, the villa area that was trespassed has been fully deep cleaned before being made accessible again to the islanders and crew.'

According to the the Daily Star, it was YouTuber Omer Majid who broke into the house.
They say he filmed himself crawling through the villa on a live broadcast.
In the clip, security could be heard shouting, "You're trespassing!" Just before he was removed from the house.
Love Island continues tonight at 10pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
