There was great news for the Irish film industry, as a movie co-produced by an Irish firm led the BAFTA nominations.
'The Favourite' has bagged 12 nominations for the awards, which are often seen as an indicator for the Oscars.
The movie, co-produced by Dublin-based Element Pictures, will contest the coveted Best Film category.
Also nominated is Olivia Colman, who picked up the Best Actress award at the Golden Globes earlier this week.
