Line Of Duty season 6
Line Of Duty creator Jed Mercurio has been taking fans behind the scenes of the upcoming sixth season.
They resumed production on the latest installment early last month.

As you were, fellas! Filming is once more underway on the new series of #LineOfDuty 🎉
Jed shared pictures of Martin Compston, Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar on set.
They were dressed in character as DS Steve Arnott, DI Kate Fleming and Superintendent Ted Hastings.
In one photo, Vicky is playfully holding a gun to Martin's head.
While in another, the three co-stars are shown laughing from behind their face masks.
In the next image, they're photographed posing for the camera.

Eagle eyed fans were quick to notice that Steve had been stripped of his Sergeant Stripes.
Many took to the comments section to question whether he had been demoted.

Jed also shared a picture of Vicky McClure sitting at a desk in the Line Of Duty offices.

Season 6
We can expect to see some brand new faces in season six.
Each season of Line of Duty focuses on a guest actor, and Kelly Macdonald will be this season's guest.
She'll follow in the footsteps of Stephen Graham, Thandie Newton and Keeley Hawes.

The BBC One Instagram account revealed Macdonald will play Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson.
She's the senior investigating officer of an unsolved murder who's raising suspicions at AC-12.
'Fellas, what exciting news.'
Season six is expected out sometime next year.
