The future of Love Is Blind
The creator and executive producer of Netflix's Love Is Blind has big plans for the show.
During a chat with Variety earlier this month, Chris Coelen says he thinks the series will go on for years.
He admits, 'I think we’ll be doing season 20.'
Chris is asked what we can expect from future seasons.
He responds, 'Look, the idea is that ultimately we’re going to do this in other countries — it’s very global.'
'There’s lots of places that we could take it.'
The creator goes on, 'Chicago is a great place to look at, so is New York, Boston, Houston.'
'There’s so many different places that we could go. And like I said, outside of the country as well.'
'I mean that’ll be a conversation that we have with Netflix, but I think there’s lots of great cities that we could go to.'
The show itself
If you haven't watched the series, here's a quick synopsis before you dive right in.
A bunch of singletons are brought together in the hopes of finding a life partner.
However, they're not allowed meet each other face to face until they get engaged.
The shows asks the question, 'Is love truly blind?'
With no distractions from the outside world, the singletons get to know each other between two walls.
When a meaningful connection is made, they propose before ever laying eyes on each other
Engaged and back in the real world, the couples plan their wedding day.
The question however, is can they turn their emotional connection into a physical connection before the big day?
