Day 7

New boy Danny entered the villa on last night's episode of Love Island.

With the introduction of a brand new boy there was plenty of jealousy, heads turned and showing off.

If you missed out, here's a full recap:

Yewande goes on a date

New boy Danny chooses Yewande to go on a date with him.

Yewande arrives and Danny says, “You look amazing.”

Danny is keen to hear about how Yewande is enjoying Love Island so far.

She tells him, “It’s good. Everyone is just getting on with everyone. We’re all just like one big family.”

Danny says, “Hopefully I can be a good addition to that.”

The pair tuck into some food and agree to both try the garlicky aioli.

Yewande admits, “I don’t even like sauces. I have ketchup and that is it.”

Danny jokingly asks, “What have you got against other sauces?”

“I’m just picky!” She responds.

Danny asks, “What is your favourite food? If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?”

Yewande replies, “Chinese food.”

“That was the right answer. That is something we have got in common straight away," Danny says.

The conversation soon shifts to past relationships. Yewande asks, “How long have you been single for?”

Danny replies, “I’ve been single for about ten months now. It’s been long enough, I’m now looking for something again. What about you?”

Yewande admits, “Four years.”

Danny asks, “How come it has been so long?”

She explains, “I came out of a relationship and then after that I wasn’t interested... Obviously, I was focusing on university."

Danny says, “Did it put you off boys forever?”

“Not forever. I just wanted to be on my own for a while," Yewande confesses.

Danny says, “That is good that you have that about yourself. I find independence attractive.”

The new boy is keen to find out more about Yewande’s job manufacturing vaccines.

He asks, “What made you want to get into that?”

Yewande says, “I always wanted to be in science. I always wanted to help people.”

Danny's in awe at her response, “I find that so cool. The base of it is that you love helping people. I think that is genuinely really cool.”

He goes on, “What guy would you normally go for?”

Yewande says, “Tall. Athletic.”

In a bid to prove he's her type, he says, “I’m quite tall. I’m 6ft2.”

To which Yewande responds, “That’s good! Someone who is genuine, honest and you can have a normal conversation with. Good vibes.”

Danny says, “I like to think I tick a lot of those boxes.”

Yewande agrees, “I think you do too.”

Danny can't help but compliment her on her "nice smile" and "perfect teeth."

"As soon as you walked out, I thought ‘Wow she’s stunning.’ So, hopefully I can get to know you a bit better.”

Yewande feels the same way, “I’d like to get to know you better.”

Amber goes on a date with Danny

Back at the villa the Islanders are relaxing in the garden and Amber receives a text.

She reads: “Amber. Freshen up. Danny would like to take you on a date. Please get ready to leave the villa. #talkofthetoon #dantheman”

Amber arrives at her date with Danny and the pair get to know each other and talk about their jobs.

Danny tells her he's a model and she tells him she's a beauty therapist.

The conversation soon changes to what they’re looking for in a partner. Amber asks, “So, what is your type?”

Danny says, “Someone who is ambitious and someone who has their own goals in life. Someone who is not scared to make themselves look silly.”

Amber jokingly questions, “Have I made myself look silly?”

Danny replies, “No! I mean people who are really serious. I haven’t got time for that.”

Amber agrees, “I don’t like to take myself too seriously either.”

Danny turns Molly-Mae's head

Danny arrives at the villa with Amber after their date and meets the other Islanders for the first time.

While Danny gets to know the boys on the day beds, the girls head to the terrace for a gossip and debrief with Amber about her date with Danny.

Molly-Mae asks Amber, “Do you think he is fit?”

Amber replies, “He is a good-looking guy, yeah.”

Molly-Mae admits, “I think he is gorgeous.”

Amber is keen to know how Yewande’s date went with Danny. She asks, “Did you fancy him?”

Yewande replies, “Yeah. He is the only person in here that I do fancy.”

Amy tells Yewande, “When you came back you were so happy!”

Molly-Mae admits that she is attracted to Danny. She says she likes his height, “Tall boys are just a thing for me.”

In the Beach Hut, Yewande admits, “I’m happy that Danny is in the villa. He’s great company and I’m just really enjoying getting to know him."

"I’m really happy.”

Molly-Mae makes her move

Later that evening Molly-Mae wastes no time in getting to know Danny.

On the day beds, she says, “I’m actually really looking forward to having a chat with you because I feel like we’re going to get on.”

Danny replies, “I feel like me and you have got quite a lot in common. I’ve just got that vibe. I think you seem really down-to-earth.”

She talks a bit about her coupling with Tommy, “The issue I’ve got at the moment is that I’m very attracted to him. I think he is a gorgeous boy."

"I just feel like he is in ‘Tommy Land’ and I’m trying to get my way into it. Maybe I need to get into ‘Danny Land’?”

It's not long before Tommy picks up on the fact that Molly-Mae is making a play for Danny.

In the Beach Hut, Tommy says, “I’m a bit confused. She’s chatting to different guys. She’s having a good crack."

"I’m glad she’s having a good time in here but I’ve never been in the situation where I’m talking to a girl and there has been other lads there."

Things heat up between Amy and Curtis

Amy and Curtis are continuing to grow closer. They have a chat in the garden. Curtis says, “You look gorgeous tonight.”

They lock lips and Amy notices that Curtis is covered in lipstick.

They can’t help but have a giggle about the situation.

Curtis and Amy head to the bedrooms to get a wipe to clean their faces but not before they enjoy one last kiss.

Amy says, “We might as well have one more kiss before we wipe it all off.”

Amy later reflects in the Beach Hut, “Lesson learned. Don’t wear red lipstick in the villa while you’re… well he’s not my boyfriend..."

"While you’re in a coupling!”

Michael and Amber

Michael has been playing it cool with Amber but after Danny chose her to go on a date with him, he’s starting to feel the heat.

Speaking with Curtis on the day beds, he says, “He’s basically taken the girl that I am coupled up with [Yewande] and the girl that I’m interested in [Amber].”

Curtis asks, “Would you prefer one of the dates to go better than the other?”

Michael admits, “I want to see Yewande happy so obviously I want to see that date go better. That would then leave me in good stead with Amber.”

As Amber returns from her date, she’s keen to have a chat with Michael to find out how he feels.

Michael of course understands why Danny chose her for a date. He says, “If I came in, you would be my first option.”

In the Beach Hut, Amber says, “Every other boy in the villa lays it on thick, it’s called factor fifty thick, apart from Michael."

"He’s very chilled and low-key which I think I’m more attracted to."

"He lays his cards on the table a little bit but also keeps them close to his chest."

"You’re not really sure what’s going on and I quite like that.”

Michael also reflects in the Beach Hut, “I do feel like Amber has got her guard up but maybe she has dropped the hint that she does like me.”

Michael confides in the boys

The next day Michael talks to Joe and Curtis about Amber and says he feels he is making romantic progress in his pursuit of her.

Joe says, “Maybe Danny coming in and having that date with her was a blessing in disguise for her to realise that you’re the guy for her.”

In the Beach Hut, Michael says, “I’m trying to gauge whether she actually likes me or not."

"She doesn’t give me any feedback. She just likes to smile at me. I’ll take that as positive feedback.”

Tonight's episode sees Amy and Curtis spend a night together in the hideaway.
