It's Day 7 in the Love Island villa and the drama is heating up!
Just as soon as Yewande meets a boy she likes, Molly-Mae makes her move.
But the rest of the girls are team Yewande!
Danny & Yewande
Last night we saw the arrival of new boy Danny Williams.
He choose Yewande for his first date and when she arrives he says, “You look amazing.”
Yewande replies, “Thanks. So do you.”
Danny asks Yewande about her Love Island experience so far.
Yewande answers, “It’s good. Everyone is just getting on with everyone. We’re all just like one big family.”
Danny replies, “Hopefully I can be a good addition to that.”
The pair bond over food.
Danny asks, “What is your favourite food? If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?”
Yewande replies, “Chinese food.”
Danny says, “That was the right answer. That is something we have got in common straight away.”
The conversation shifts to past relationships.
Danny reveals he's been single for 10 months, while it's been four years for Yewande.
Danny asks, “How come it has been so long?”
Yewande replies, “I think it was my choice for a while. I came out of a relationship and then after that I wasn’t interested. Obviously, I was focusing on university.”
After chatting about Yewande's job for a few minutes, the islanders get on to their perfect date.
Danny asks, “What guy would you normally go for?”
Yewande says, “Tall. Athletic.”
Danny: “I’m quite tall. I’m 6ft2.”
Yewande: “That’s good! Someone who is genuine, honest and you can have a normal conversation with. Good vibes.”
Danny: “I like to think I tick a lot of those boxes.”
Yewande: “I think you do too.”
Things go from good to great when Danny says, “You’ve got a really nice smile.
"Perfect teeth. As soon as you walked out, I thought ‘Wow she’s stunning.’ So, hopefully I can get to know you a bit better.”
Yewande says “I’d like to get to know you better.”
Danny & Amber
Back at the villa the Islanders are relaxing in the garden.
Amber receives a text that reads: “Amber. Freshen up. Danny would like to take you on a date. Please get ready to leave the villa. #talkofthetoon #dantheman”
Amber arrives at her date with Danny and the pair get to know each other and talk about their jobs.
Danny says, “I’m a model. What do you do?”
Amber says, “I’m a beauty therapist.”
Conversation soon changes to what they’re looking for in a partner.
Danny says, “Someone who is ambitious and someone who has their own goals in life. Someone who is not scared to make themselves look silly.”
Amber jokes. “Have I made myself look silly?”
Danny replies, “No! I mean people who are really serious. I haven’t got time for that.”
Amber agrees, “I don’t like to take myself too seriously either.”
Molly-Mae makes a move on Danny
Danny arrives at the villa with Amber after their date and meets the other islanders for the first time.
His immediately catches the eye of Molly-Mae.
During a discussion on the balcony Molly-Mae asks Amber, “Do you think he is fit?”
Amber replies, “He is a good-looking guy, yeah.”
Molly-Mae says, “I think he is gorgeous.”
Amber is keen to know how Yewande’s date went with Danny. She asks “Did you fancy him?”
Yewande replies “Yeah. He is the only person in here that I do fancy.”
Amy says, “When you came back you were so happy!”
Later in the Beach Hut, Yewande admits, “I’m happy that Danny is in the villa."
He’s great company and I’m just really enjoying getting to know him. I’m really happy.”
However, Molly-Mae wastes no time in getting to know the new boy.
On the day beds, she says, “I’m actually really looking forward to having a chat with you because I feel like we’re going to get on.”
Danny replies, “I feel like me and you have got quite a lot in common. I’ve just got that vibe. I think you seem really down-to-earth.”
It isn’t long before Tommy picks up on the fact that Molly-Mae is making a play for Danny.
In the Beach Hut, he says, “I’m a bit confused. She’s chatting to different guys. She’s having a good crack.
Tommy continues, "I’m glad she’s having a good time in here but I’ve never been in the situation where I’m talking to a girl and there has been other lads there.
"It is what it is.”
Amy & Curtis have a kiss
Amy and Curtis continue to grow closer.
During a chat in the garden Curtis says, “You look gorgeous tonight.”
Amy says “Thank you.”
The share a sneaky kiss then Amy says, “You’re covered in lipstick now!”
Curtis: “Am I actually?”
Amy: “Yes, you are! Is mine everywhere?”
Curtis: “No it’s not bad. Oh wait, yes, it is!”
The villa's cutest couple head to the bathroom to get cleaned up.
In private Amy says, “We might as well have one more kiss before we wipe it all off.”
Michael & Amber
Michael made his feelings known to Amber on last night's episode.
However, since then she was whisked off on a date with new boy Danny.
Speaking with Curtis on the day beds, Michael says, “He’s basically taken the girl that I am coupled up with [Yewande] and the girl that I’m interested in [Amber].”
Curtis says, “Would you prefer one of the dates to go better than the other?”
Michael replies, “I want to see Yewande happy so obviously I want to see that date go better. That would then leave me in good stead with Amber.”
Curtis says, “You like Amber, don’t you?”
Michael says, “Yeah. I do like Amber.”
When Amber returns from her date she’s keen to have a chat with Michael to find out how he feels.
Michael says, “If I came in, you would be my first option.”
Amber replies, “Why?”
Michael says, “Because I am attracted to you.”
In the Beach Hut, Amber says, “Every other boy in the villa lays it on thick, it’s called factor fifty thick, apart from Michael.
He’s very chilled and low-key which I think I’m more attracted to.
He lays his cards on the table a little bit but also keeps them close to his chest.
Amber continued, "You’re not really sure what’s going on and I quite like that.”
Michael also reflects in the Beach Hut, he says “I do feel like Amber has got her guard up but maybe she has dropped the hint that she does like me.”
“I’m trying to gauge whether she actually likes me or not."
"She doesn’t give me any feedback. She just likes to smile at me. I’ll take that as positive feedback.”
The next day Michael talks to Joe and Curtis about Amber.
The boys reassure him that Amber is interested.
Joe says, “Maybe Danny coming in and having that date with her was a blessing in disguise for her to realise that you’re the guy for her.”
Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two tonight from 9pm.
