Love Island winter series
ITV have reportedly been urged to reconsider their decision to film the winter series of Love Island in Cape Town.
According to The Daily Star, there's concerns surrounding the capital's high violent crime rate.
It was revealed earlier this summer that Love Island will return for two seasons next year.
We'll be introduced to a new villa in South Africa in early 2020.
While the following season will premiere in summer 2020.

The reality show has become the most highly anticipated series of the year.
It's also been branded the most watched programme of 2019 for adults aged 16-34, across any channel.
Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions at ITV made a statement:
'Love Island has proven yet again to be the perfect format that engages younger audiences.'
'In response to this viewer appetite, a new batch of young singletons will deliver some highly anticipated post-Christmas romance and drama from our new and luxurious location.'

Concerns
However, there's concerns surrounding the capital's high violent crime rate.
According to The Daily Star, 'New figures show that the murder rate has risen to 12 killings a day.'
'At weekends this rises to around 50.'
ITV are reportedly being urged to consider the safety of the islanders in the capital.
A source tells the publication, 'Cape Town International Airport welcomed 5.3 million holiday makers last year...'
'Up 3% on the previous year.'
