Love Island Day 8
It's been the most dramatic day of Love Island 2019 so far.
The afternoon we learned the shocking news that Sherif had left the villa.
While the exact reason remains unclear, we know he's 'broken the rules'.
But, the show must go on!
And tonight's episode looks set to be full of love for Curtis, Amy, Yewande, Danny, Michael and Amber.
Danny & Yewande
On tonight's episode new boy Danny and Yewande get to know each other by the pool.
Danny says, "People ask me what I think about Yewande and I saw, 'Oh my God she's stunning'."
"On the date, in here, when you're just walking around it's like Oh my God."
Danny continues, "Based on conversations I've had with people I don't think I've clicked with anyone the way I have clicked with you."
"That's a fact and everyone can see it."
Yewande smiles and says, "That's good."
However, there's one person who apparently can't see that Danny is best suited with Yewande.
During a conversation at the fire pit she tells him, "It's really hard to ignore the fact that we do have really good conversations when Tommy and I don't necessarily."
Amber & Michael
Michael speaks to Joe in the kitchen.
He says, "I'm going to pull Amber aside and just kind of see how things play out."
Joe suggests, "And then kiss her!"
"She's looking extra nice tonight so don't crumble alright!"
Later on the day beds Amy asks Amber, "Do you want to kiss him?"
Amber replies, "A little bit yeah. When I'm sitting next to him I think, 'I would kiss you'."
Michael then takes her to the terrace for a private chat.
Michael says, "I do get a bit nervous around you and I don't do that!"
"It's like what's going on? Why am I being soft?
Amber asks, "Why are you being soft?
To which Michael replies, "Obviously because I'm in to you."
Amber laughs and says, "I feel shy!"
Amber then says, "You don't lay it on at all."
"You say one thing to us every couple of days."
Michael replies, "Well how about I just show you then!"
Curtis & Amy
Tommy gets a text: 'Islanders, the hideaway open tonight, please choose a lucky couple to spend the night alone.'
The villa unanimously picks Curtis and Amy.
In the Beach Hut Curtis says, "I can't wait to spend some quality alone time with Amy away from the kids of the villa."
Later in the hot tub Curtis says, "I feel like I want to... I don't know..."
Amy interjects, "I think you should have planned this speech!"
Curtis continues, "I know we've only known each other for nine days. I'm not...
Amy smiles and says, "Spit it out, it's fine..."
Are we about to get the first big question of Love Island 2019?
We'll have to tune in tonight to find out!
Love Island returns to Virgin Media Two tonight from 9pm.
