Dr. Toluwa Adepeju for Love Island
25-year-old Dr. Toluwa Adepeju is in line to star in this summer's series of Love Island, according to The Sun.
The junior doctor has been working on the front lines amid the pandemic, and insiders say he's the, 'perfect pick.'
An ITV source told The Sun, 'He’s led from the very front - in hospital and online, educating people of the risks and the need to get vaccinated.'
'He is a perfect pick. He’s modest, down to earth and loves what he does.'
Not only is he a Medical Doctor, but he's also a model for Impact Models Agency.
In his Instagram bio, he also reveals he's the co-founder of a group called MedScore.
According to their website, they're, 'an organisation led by undergraduate/graduate medical students and doctors who have complete knowledge of the medical school process.'
If these reports are true, Dr. Toluwa will be following in the footsteps of Dr. Alex George.
He became a hit after starring in the 2018 series of the show, and is possibly the most loved former Islander amid the pandemic.
Earlier this month, it was reported that boxer Nigel Benn's son Harley has signed up for the show.
