Sex Education season 3
Sex Education will return for a third season!
They announced the news in a video posted to the show’s official Instagram account last night.
However, a release date hasn’t yet been announced.
In the video, Mr. Groff actor Alistair Petrie is shown strolling through the halls of Moordale Secondary School.
He addresses the camera, “Hello there. I’m Alistair Petrie, also known as Principal Groff.”
“But today I’m going to be an art historian as we examine this exquisite gallery.”
Portraits of the characters from Sex Education are shown hanging in frames on the wall.
He points to the lead character’s photo, “Otis, an arousing wheel of Brie.”
Petrie moves onto the fourth frame, “Eric, asking the old question, “He loves me, he loves me not?””
He then discusses the frames of Lily, Aimee and Ola.
The actor says, “Lily and her violets, a Greek symbol of lesbian and bisexual love.”
When a frame of Eric and Adam is shown on the wall, Petrie says, “I wonder what is in store for these two cherubs.”
This is where the Principal Groff actor breaks the news of Netflix’s renewal.
He tells the camera, “Well, I suppose you’ll have to find out in season three, won’t you?”

Season 2
The renewal news follows the success of the show’s latest season which dropped last month.
Its ending has a lot to do with our desire for a third season.
***Warning: season two spoilers ahead***
If you’ve already forgotten how the season wrapped up, here's a quick recap to get you up to speed:
Maeve finally plucks up the courage to tell Otis she has feelings for him.
While we sit at home shouting at the TV screen, Otis rejects Maeve and insists he's crazy about his girlfriend Ola.
It all falls apart for Otis when Ola dumps him for her best friend Lily.
With Otis and Maeve both single, viewers are convinced they'll get together - wrong.
Otis leaves a voicemail for Maeve after realising how much he really does love her.
He tells her this in the message and mentions how proud of her he is.
When he hears nothing back, he goes to her home in the Caravan Park.
Just as he arrives, Maeve leaves in the opposite direction.
Otis asks Maeve's neighbour Isaac, who also has feelings for her, to tell her to check her voice mail.
Isaac however, does the complete opposite and deletes the message altogether.
The final scene shows Otis and Maeve walking up the same hill in different places.
And that's it... So now you understand why we NEED a third season.
Meanwhile, in other Sex Education news, fans were shocked to discover Aimee Lou and Connor Swindells are dating.
