New episodes of Orange Is New Black are under threat by an online hacker, more than two months before they were due to premiere on Netflix.
According to Variety, a hacker who is going by the name of 'thedarkoverlord' has held ten episodes of season 5 to ransom, and has threatened to leak them online.
Netflix have released a statement saying 'We are aware of the situation. A production vendor used by several major TV studios had its security compromised and the appropriate law enforcement authorities are involved.'
There has been no reports of the episodes surfacing online.
Season 5 of Orange Is The New Black officially lands on Netflix on the 9th of June.
