Netflix release 13th for free
Netflix have released Ava DuVernay's 13th for free online.
Anyone can watch the full feature on the streaming service's official YouTube page.
The documentary follows filmmaker Ava DuVernay as she delves into the history of racial inequality in America.
In particular, 13th focuses on how the prison system in the United States proves this.
13th won Best Documentary at the Emmys, the BAFTAs and the NAACP Image Awards following its release in 2016.
The documentary's name comes from the American Constitution's 13th amendment.
It reads, 'Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States.'

Black Lives Matter
13th's free online release comes amid the Black Lives Matter protests taking place across the world.
These demonstrations were sparked following the death of George Floyd.
Mr. Floyd died on 25th May after Police Officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck for over eight minutes.
He was repeatedly heard by bystanders telling officers he couldn't breathe.
