What happened in season 1?
On the same day in 1989, 43 infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy
Seven of the children are adopted by a billionaire who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares them to save the world.

Now, the six surviving members reunite when their father passes away.
They must work together to solve a mystery surrounding his death.
The family begin to fall apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities.

What do we know about season 2?
We actually don't much about the second season at the moment.
The original cast will all be reprising their roles in the news season and additional casting news will be announced at a later date.

The new season will consist of 10 one-hour episodes with production beginning this summer.
Steve Blackman will return as Showrunner and Executive Producer.
