Netflix are warning people not to take part in the #BirdBoxChallenge.
The Netflix film 'Bird Box' follows a mother who must live blindfolded as she avoids a mysterious force that causes people to take their own lives.
Many people have now taken on a dare which challenges you to take part in everyday activities, blindfolded.
The challenge is causing people to walk into walls and some are coming dangerously close to traffic.
Netflix have since issued a warning asking people not to hurt themselves in the #BirdBoxChallenge.
Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.

Social media users have taken to Twitter in response to the challenge and to Netflix's plea.
One wrote, 'I do the #BirdBoxChallenge whenever I wake up without glasses.'
