Creepy
Unfortunately Netflix have released a clip from You without Joe's narration.
Just when we thought the series couldn't get any creepier the streaming service have outdone themselves.
It turns out that when we're not hearing Joe's thoughts You has a lot of awkward silences.
In one scene between Joe and Beck the only word spoken is 'falafel'.
As Netflix said, 'When the only word between a couple all night is "falafel", it's probably not meant to be.'
If only you picked up on the signs Beck!
Season 2 has been confirmed
Following its huge success, You season 2 has been confirmed.
The series originally aired on Lifetime but Netflix have renewed the second season.
The move was announced on 3rd December with Netflix releasing season 1 in full on 26th December.
While we don't have a release date yet, we can expect season 2 in autumn 2019.
When Joe returns we'll see him relocate to LA.
You might remember that Joe's neighbours Paco and his mother move to Los Angelos at the end of the first season. This almost guarantees them a return in the story.
You was a book first
You was a book first and it has a sequel (Hidden Bodies) so we already know a lot about where season 2 is headed.
Show writer Sera Gamble told Metro, 'We’ve got lots of great stuff from the books, and also some new things that have come about as a result of changing the story for TV, like that Candace is alive and kicking and not pleased with Joe.'
We'll also be finding out more about Joe's past.
Gamble told Hollywood reporter, 'There's a lot more to explore about Joe from earlier in his life. Those are the things we're starting to get into for season two.'
Finally, Joe has some loose ends to tie up after the murders in season 1.
Gamble continued, 'He is very worried about the fact that Peach Salinger's family has hired people to investigate her alleged suicide, and there is evidence potentially still at her house.'
