Ah the weekend is finally here. That time of the week where some of us turn into gym bunnies, while others morph into hiberating couch potatoes.
If you're the latter, there's tons of new content to Netflix this weekend that will keep you entertained. (Once Graham Norton is over, of course. Check out the incredible line up for that HERE.)
Mindhunter (Series 1)
Mindhunter revolves around two FBI agents in the 1970's, who interview serial killers, in order to understand how their minds work.
It's a ten-part series, which is based on a book by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas called Mind Hunter: Inside FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit. John Douglas is a former FBI agent. He has interviewed notorious serial criminals like Ted Bundy and Charles Manson to try and get into the mind of a criminal.
The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson
David France’s The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson, is a deeply compelling look at the murder of a transgender legend, known as “the Rosa Parks of the LGBT movement.”
The powerful, haunting film is France’s follow-up to his Academy Award® nominated How to Survive a Plague. The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson is presented by Public Square Films; Joy A. Tomchin and Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy) served as executive producers; L.A. Teodosio produced.
