It's been viewed by audiences from all over the world - even the Kardashians have been showing it some love.

But have you ever stopped to think, how do they understand the accents? Well, we finally have an answer.
It turns out viewers have been watching the show using subtitles.
Many have taken to Twitter to share this revelation with the world, 'tried watching normal people without subtitles... can't do it...'
Another wrote, 'There are only six types of people in the world and I’m the kind that watches “Normal People” with the English subtitles on.'

It's after a video compilation of sex scenes from the show surfaced on the website.
