Peaky Blinders season 5 finally has a release date
Peaky Blinders season 5 is just around the corner.
The BBC have finally confirmed a return date for the show - Sunday 25th August.
And that's not all, the hit series is moving channels.
As a result of the Shelby's cult following season 5 will now at 9pm BBC One.
The first trailer for the latest batch of episodes dropped in late July.
The series begins in 1929 during the aftermath of a big financial crisis, meanwhile Tommy has just become a Labour MP in Birmingham South.
The official description reads:
'When Tommy Shelby MP is approached by a charismatic politician with a bold vision for Britain, he realises that his response will affect not just his family's future but that of the entire nation.'
'Opportunity and misfortune are everywhere.'
