The Riverdale time jump
A couple episodes into the upcoming fifth season of Riverdale, there's going to be a seven year time jump.
In a recent interview, Hiram Lodge actor, Mark Consuelos, revealed some characters will be in different relationships.
Mark opened up about the time jump during a recent appearance on Quarantined with Bruce.
He shared, 'Season 5 is graduation, and then they’re going to jump-cut seven years after a few episodes.'
'Which was a decision not to stay in the college.'

'It’s super interesting. I’m excited to do it.'
'I’m up to my old shenanigans [as Hiram] but I’m excited to get back to work.'

Not to mention Marisol Nichols (Hermione) and Skeet Ulrich (F.P Jones) announced they're leaving the show.
That means their character's relationships with Hiram and Alice are in jeopardy.
Atleast we have Cheryl and Toni to root for!
Also, Archie's mother is in a new relationship so fingers crossed they're still together.
Meanwhile, the cast were reunited this week for filming after production was halted amid the pandemic earlier this year.
Show creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared a behind the scenes look at the new season.
