Show creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa was reunited with the cast this week.
They landed in Canada earlier this month but had to quarantine for 14 days before joining on set.
Roberto said they spent their first night together celebrating Lili Reinhart's 24th birthday.
He posted a photo with the Betty actress and her co-stars Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Drew Ray Tanner and Camila Mendes.
'After fourteen days of quarantining 🇨🇦 and months of prep, #Riverdale Season 5 starts shooting tomorrow.'
'Spent the night in the bubble, reminiscing with these lovely people and celebrating @lilireinhart 24th birthday 🎂 How time flies.'
