Riverdale after Luke Perry
Show creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has been talking about Riverdale after Luke Perry.
He revealed plans to honor Perry during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Sunday.
'We are I think all still in shock and are all still processing and grieving,' said Aguirre-Sacasa.
'We know that we have to address it in some way, but we're giving ourselves a little bit of time and space before we figure out the best way to honor him.'
However, he did confirm that all remaining Riverdale episodes will be 'dedicated to Luke.'
'Luke was, is, and will always be a big part of Riverdale. We're kind of a family and when a loss like this happens, you carry it always.'
'It changes and it hopefully becomes a little less painful as time goes by, but you're changed.'
Fred Andrews
We haven't seen the last of Luke Perry on our screens just yet.
Aguirre-Sacasa confirmed there are a number of episodes with Perry's character Fred Andrews still to air.
'There are still a few more episodes that have Luke in them, so we're glad to share those.'
He continued, 'in my mind, every episode for the rest of time on Riverdale will have a bit of Luke in it.'
Cole Sprouse
Cole Sprouse appeared on Busy Tonight this week to discuss new movie Five Feet Apart.
During the interview Busy brought up Riverdale.
Sprouse and the rest of the cast recently returned to set following Perry's death.
He said, "We were very close to him."
"In the 26 years I've been doing this, he is a person I have never heard a bad thing said about, which is an incredibly impressive thing the longer you're in this."
"He was so passionate in the way that he spoke that everything he talked about, every topic that he jumped to was just this beautiful impassioned thing that he had to say about it."
"We're all gonna miss him a lot, but do respect the privacy of the family first."
Riverdale season 3 is currently airing on Netflix.
