Seth Rogen will play the role of Pumbaa in the remake of The Lion King.
According to empireonline.com, Seth will take on the role of Pumbaa while Billy Eicher plays Timon.
Disney have confirmed that the movie is set for release in July 2019, with director Jon Favreau now in pre-production. Jeff Nathanson has written the script and the musical element will blend Elton John and Tim Rice's original songs, with some new tunes too.
