Shrek and Donkey on another worldwide adventure!
It's official DreamWorks have confirmed Shrek 5 is in the works.
Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz are all reprising their roles as Shrek, Donkey, and Princess Fiona.

The film's account announced the return on X, writing: “Not too Far, Far Away… Shrek 5 is coming to theaters on July 1, 2026 with Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz.”
Shrek 5 is due to hit cinemas the 1st of July 2026 - The same Summer Toy Story 5 is set to release so get ready for some major nostalgia!
