While R. Lee Fleming, who wrote the original 1999 movie, will pen the remake.
Original producers Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay will also return for the new film.

The plot
The original movie follows the story of a popular high school jock who gets dumped by his girlfriend.
He takes a bet with his friends to turn one of the school's nerdiest girls into the next prom queen.
But he had no idea he'd end up falling in love with her.
The remake however, will be told from a teenage girl's perspective.
It's believed Addison will take on a role inspired by Freddie Prinze Jr.’s high school jock character Zackary Siler.
He's All That will see Addison's character attempt to turn a nerdy high school boy into prom king.
