High School Musical: The Musical: The Series
Disney have finally released the trailer for their upcoming take on the original High School Musical movies.
The series will follow a group of students who audition for a role in their school's production of the musical.

The trailer opens with a frontal view of East High School where Troy and Gabriella began their journey together.
We're then shown the basketball court where number 14, Troy Bolton played as part of the East High Wildcats.
The students are gathered on the stands while a lady addresses them.
"When I heard the High School where High School Musical was shot had never staged a production of High School Musical the musical, I was shocked, inspired and triggered as a millennial."
The original movies
The original movies follow the story of high school students Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens).
When they're forced to sing together on New Years Eve, there's an undeniable spark between them.
Faith has its way with the two when Gabriella is transferred to East High for the semester.
Troy just happens to be the most popular boy at the school.
The 10-episode series airs on the 12th of November on Disney+.
