Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga
The first official trailer for Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga is finally here.
It follows the story of two aspiring musicians named Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir, played by Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams.
Lars and Sigrit are given the opportunity to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest.
'They finally have a chance to prove that any dream is a dream worth fighting for.'
However, as Lars points out in the trailer, "All of Iceland thinks [they] are a joke!"
Graham Norton stars in the movie as host of the competition.
He's heard presenting, "42 countries, hundreds of performers and a worldwide audience of 180 million."
"This is Eurovision," he adds.
Lars and Sigrit embark on a mission to prove their worth to their home country and to Lars' father, played by Pierce Brosnan.
Ferrell's character says, "We have to prove to Iceland and my extremely handsome father that my life hasn't been wasted."
However, it doesn't exactly go to plan.
Later in the trailer, Lars and Sigrit are shown performing from a stage harness.
It all goes pear shaped when Lars' harness snaps and he falls to the ground.
His father Erick is watching him on TV from a pub, and he looks extremely disappointed.
The Story of Fire Saga drops June 26th.
