Joker
The final trailer for Director Todd Phillips' Joker starring Joaquin Phoenix has been released.
The movie tells the origin story of Batman's iconic arch nemesis.
Arthur Fleck is a man who has been disregarded by society.
He works as a clown and appears to have only one friend in life, his mother.

The trailer opens with Arthur sitting on a train, making funny faces at the young boy in the seat ahead of him.
His mother interrupts, "Can you please stop bothering my kid?"
We're then shown Arthur sitting in a dark room with his social worker.
She tells him, "Arthur, I have some bad news for you. This is the last time we'll be meeting."
He asks, "You don't listen do you?"

He tells her, "You just ask the same questions every week."
"Hows your job? Are you having any negative thoughts?"
"All I have are negative thoughts."
We're then shown Arthur sitting next to a loved one in a hospital bed, perhaps his mother.
His attention is then drawn to the TV in front of her bed.

He smiles as he watches himself on a late night talk show remarking to the audience, "well no one's laughing now."
However, his mood changes when the talk show host played by Robert De Niro makes fun of him.
