The Comey Rule
Showtime have released a brand new trailer for The Comey Rule.
The miniseries sees Irish actor Brendan Gleeson take on the role of Donald Trump.
While Jeff Daniels plays former FBI director James Comey.
The series is based on Comey’s memoir A Higher Loyalty.
Showtime describe it as, 'an immersive, behind-the-headlines account,' of the 2016 presidential election.
It's about how Comey and Trump's, 'strikingly different personalities, ethics and loyalties put them on a collision course.'
The trailer begins with Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, addressing his colleagues.
He says, "We are now 15 days before the presidential election."
"And we have to go through 347,000 emails to determine if one of the candidates in that election needs to be indicted."
Elsewhere, Daniels' character, James Comey, is on the phone to someone.
He's being told that they believe Russia is, "trying to sabotage Secretary Clinton's campaign."
In a later scene, the FBI director looks defeated after learning that Trump has won the presidential election.
Gleeson narrates in character as Trump, "No one has ever succeeded like I have."
Comey is then heard saying, "This was not espionage, this was an attack."
