Line Of Duty
The BBC have just released the full official trailer for Line Of Duty season six.
The series returns to our screens this March 21st and we can't contain our excitement.
Flashes of the gang in action shoot across the screen at the beginning of the trailer.
AC-12's Superintendent Ted Hastings is heard saying, "Gail Vella's murder is this force's highest profile investigation."
Kelly Macdonald appears in character as Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson.
"Her life got cut short, and whoever did it has got away with it," she tells Detective Inspector Kate Fleming.
Hastings narrates, "It will be our job to detect whether the police corruption has contributed to this murder remaining unsolved."
Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott addresses his team.
"There is no corruption in this police force"
He says, "I'm going to draw your attention to organised crime and corrupt police officers."
Police and Crime Commissioner, Rohan Sindwhani is shown on TV at a press briefing.
He insists, "There is no corruption in this police force."
Frustrated, Hastings shouts, "A bare-faced liar promoted to our highest office!"
We then see Davidson tell Arnott, "you should investigate."
He very suspiciously responds, "Believe me, we will."
Shalom Brune-Franklin appears in character as AC-12's DC Chloe Bishop.
Seemingly referring to Davidson, she says on the phone, "You have no idea what she's capable of."
The team soon learn, "A whole line of enquiries have been deliberately suppressed to protect organised crime."
Davidson tells Fleming, "Kate, I had nothing to do with it."
She replies, "All I know is somebody's behind all of this."
DC Chloe Bishop insists, "I'm being framed," when brought in for questioning.
The words, 'Lies cost lives,' are written across the screen.
Hastings asks, "When did we stop caring about honesty and integrity?"
The trailer concludes with Arnott investigating the identity of, 'H.'
Line Of Duty returns Sunday 21st March.
