Shrek and Donkey last graced our screens in 2010, and now they’re gearing up for another adventure.
DreamWorks has debuted the first trailer for Shrek 5, and after weeks of speculation the teaser clip confirmed Zendaya has joined the cast.
The Euphoria actress will star as Shrek’s daughter alongside the original cast - Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy and Cameron Diaz.

The fifth installment of the franchise is set drop December 2026 - However, while people are happy about the new film, Shrek and Donkey's new look have people fuming!
Taking to the comments section under the trailer one fan wrote: "WE DON'T LIKE THIS STYLE!! I WANT THE ORIGINAL STYLE!!"
Another fan expressed their frustration with the new "glow up" and wrote: "Why did they butcher the animation?!?!?!?"
While a third wrote: "Please Shrek I have been waiting 15 years and this is what I will get."
