A Japanese TV show has cancelled a performance by K-pop band BTS after one of its members was pictured wearing an "offensive" t-shirt.
They were set to perform this evening, but the channel has since confirmed their appearance has been "postponed".
The t-shirt stirred anger among some Japanese fans of the ground as it featured images depicting the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, as well as pro-Korean liberation slogans.
I can never accept the act that #BTS member wore the atomic bomb T-shirts humanely. The problem is not the relation between Japan and Korea. It's just humanity. pic.twitter.com/x37nZs8pJG

A statement released by the Japanese network said that the shirt 'caused controversy' and that they are discussing it with the record label.
