Jesy Nelson has just released her debut solo single Boyz ft. Nicki Minaj and we're obsessed with it.

The music video for Boyz, which samples P Diddy's Bad Boys For Life, features an appearance from the rapper himself.
When she smashes one of his windows with a golf ball, he shows up at her front door.
"Hey Jesy... Little Mix... whatever y'all calling yourself these days, check it out."

"I live next door," he continues, "The golf balls through the window - it's not gonna work."
"This. This isn't going to fly," the artist says as he holds up the golf ball with the word, 'Boyz,' written on it.
"And Friday nights, that's my night. That's the night that I party. Hands off for Friday nights, okay?"

P Diddy goes on, "So if y'all having a party, y'all can invite me too. Welcome to the neighbourhood."
"Good luck to you in your career," he says before throwing the golf ball into Jesy's hands.

Jesy chats to SPIN
SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo asked Jesy how she feels knowing all her fans have stood by her side as she launches her solo career.
She said, "Throughout this whole process, I have realised I am so lucky to have the fans that I've got."
"They are so loyal, so dedicated, and they do nothing but show me so much love and support."

Jesy continued, "I love them so much. I mean I chat to them regularly every day."
"I wouldn't be able to do this without them and I feel so lucky."
The artist revealed she was going through a breakup when she started writing her new music.

The 30-year-old said, "It's so funny, everyone always says you write the best songs when you go through a breakup and you really do."
"So yeah, I had a lot of sessions where I cried my eyes out in the studio."
"But it was like therapy, it was amazing."

Sarina asked Jesy what it is about music that she loves so much.
She admitted, "I honestly just couldn't live without music. Music for me is the biggest form of therapy."
"The fact that I can be in the worst mood ever, and if you put on a song that I love, it can completely take me out of that."

"That's how powerful music is... I just feel so lucky that that's my job, I get to create music."
Jesy admitted she feels, "really proud," of herself for going solo and releasing the music she loves.
