Dermot Kennedy’s back and this time he’s on the hunt to find ‘true happiness’ through his music, in particular his brand new single Let Me In.
The 33-year-old Dublin singer-songwriter took to Instagram to announce his news and share a snippet of the new track.
Alongside a picturesque lyric video that featured a sunset over a blue ocean, he explained what his latest piece of work was all about.

He penned as his caption: “‘Let Me In’ is a song about the struggle to find true happiness, and the people and places that have brought me closest to it in my life.
“I wrote it on the first day I got to Nashville last summer. I hadn’t written a song in a while, so it felt like I captured something I had been trying to say for a long time. I hope you love this one.”
Fans and famous friends rushed to the comment section to share their love for the short teaser with Gavin James typing: “Beautiful tune”, with a red love heart emoji.
Another fan wrote: “Wowwwwww this might just be my new favorite song, goosebumps when the chorus started!!! This one made me emotional”, while a third said: “Just another extraordinary, stunningly beautiful and relatable song by Dermot Kennedy!

Dermot’s latest release comes ahead of his very own festival MISNEACH which is due to happen in Sydney on March 16, and in Boston on March 18 and 19.
He is expected to perform in both cities as part of the events.
