Mariah Carey released the song 25 years ago
All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey has reached number one in the US for the first time ever.
It has become one of the songs of Christmas ever since its release in 1994.
When it was first released, it wasn't technically a single so it didn't qualify for the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
However, ever since then it has grown in popularity, especially since it was re-released in 2000.
It formed part of the soundtrack for Love Actually in 2003 which gave it a brand new lease of life.
Since then, it has been slowly climbing the charts when Christmas comes around.
