All I want for Christmas is... not to be sued.
Mariah Carey is facing a 20 million dollar lawsuit for copyright infringement.
It's over her hit Christmas single 'All I Want for Christmas Is You.'
She and co-writer Walter Afanasieff are being brought to court by songwriter Andy Stone.
He claims he co-wrote the song in 1989 but never permitted them to use it.
Mariah Carey was sued over her 1994 Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” by a songwriter who said he co-wrote a song with the same title five years earlier.

All I Want for Christmas Is You has become a global hit during the festive season.
The case will commence at the US District Court in the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Andy Stone claims Carey 'willfully and intentionally engaged in a campaign' to exclude him from the song.
The track featured on 'Merry Christmas', which was an album Mariah released in 1994.
