Simon Cowell shocked fans when he revealed his own natural singing voice on Instagram in celebration of his 65th birthday.
The music mogul recorded himself standing outside his home, holding the camera in selfie-mode as he belted out the popular tune.
At the end of his rendition, he told fans: "That's why I decided to never be a singer."
The talent show entrepreneur - who found fame for his role in setting up The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent / America's Got Talent - continued his self-deprecating spiel by moving on to announce his age.

Simon explained: "I'm now at an age when you say how old you are, people clap and that's depressing.
"However, I'm alive, I'm healthy, I'm happy and thank you everyone for your kind messages."
In the video, he wore one of his signature V-neck t-shirts and a pair of orange-tinted black framed glasses. He also sported a graying beard for the occasion.
"Happy Birthday to me! Thank you for all of your kind messages. Love, Simon," was the caption attached to the clip that amassed an abundance of well-wishes from other celebs including Perez Hilton, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum.
Despite entering the zone of retirement age, Simon has no intentions of quitting the grind as he currently is on the hunt for the next One Direction.
The talent show judge is filming a new Netflix documentary called The Midas Touch alongside his Britain's Got Talent shooting schedule.
