Taylor shared in a post online that she's poured all her, 'whims, dreams, fears and musings,' into this album.
While she wrote and recorded Folklore in isolation, Taylor still got to collaborate with some of her, 'musical heroes.'
One of her, 'heroes,' is Bon Iver, who she revealed features on a track with her.

The album's pictures were taken in a forest.
Taylor gushed over the photos, which were taken by her pal Beth Garrabrant.
The 30-year-old said before this year, she would have wanted the album to come out at the, ''perfect,' time.'

However, the current global pandemic has taught her that, 'nothing is guaranteed.'
'My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world.'
She finished, 'That's the side of uncertainty I can get on board with.'

What's even more exciting, is the music video for her song Cardigan will premiere later tonight.
Taylor both wrote and directed the piece alongside her, 'bad a** video team.'
'The entire shoot was overseen by a medical inspector, everyone wore masks, stayed away from each other, and I even did my own hair, makeup, and styling.'
