Tracy Chapman has sued rapper Nicki Minaj, claiming the 35-year-old stole part of her song without asking for permission.
The song is question is Minaj's new track Sorry which has not yet been released.
The Fast Car singer has filed copyright infringement lawsuit in LA.
Chapman claims Nicki incorporates lyrics from her 1988 hit Baby Can I Hold You in the new track.
Apparently multiple artists have previously requested to use the track but Chapman has declined all requests.
Nicki is yet to comment.
